Elementary

Elementary Education

Certification for Elementary (PreK-6) and Music (PreK-12).

Elementary educators empower young minds through accessible and engaging instruction grounded in interdisciplinary learning, teaching literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.

Secondary

Secondary academic subjects, grades 4-12

Business, English, History and social studies, Mathematics, Science covering biology, chemistry, earth science, general science and physics, and Music (PreK-12).

Secondary educators provide subject-specific instruction to grades 4-12 students, empowering them to think critically, solve problems, and develop the skills necessary for success in higher education and the workforce.

Preparation for certification as an intermediate administrator in the state of Connecticut.

The program provides practical preparation for administrative positions in schools up to, and including, the assistant superintendent position. All state of Connecticut requirements for administrative certification are met by completion of this program.
