How High School Students Enroll in CUE

Four straightforward steps to earn official college credits in your high school classroom.

Step 01

Select an Approved CUE Course

Choose a certified CUE course section during high school class registration with your guidance counselor.

Step 02

Complete Online Registration

Fill out the UB CUE Registration Form during the enrollment window: Fall/Full-Year (Sept 21 – Oct 16) or Spring (Jan 19 – Feb 19).

Step 03

Submit $150 Course Tuition

Pay the $150 course tuition online via credit card through the secure student portal.

Step 04

Receive Official Transcript

Upon completing the course, your final grade is recorded on an official University of Bridgeport transcript.

How do CUE credits transfer to other colleges and universities?

CUE courses are official University of Bridgeport undergraduate courses that carry full academic credit. An official UB transcript is generated upon completion, which can be sent to colleges across the United States. While acceptance of transfer credit is determined by the receiving institution, regional and national colleges routinely accept UB academic credits.

What if I decide to attend University of Bridgeport as an undergraduate?

Students who matriculate at UB after completing CUE courses have all credits applied directly toward their degree program, satisfying general education or major requirements. This enables students to graduate early, save tuition, or easily pursue a double major or minor.

What courses are typically available through the CUE dual-enrollment program?

Participating high schools offer approved courses across foundational disciplines, including College English (ENGL 101/102), Pre-Calculus & Calculus (MATH 109/110), General Biology (BIOL 101), Chemistry (CHEM 103), US History (HIST 101/102), Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 101), Principles of Sociology (SOC 101), and World Languages.

What is the refund and course withdrawal policy?

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cue@bridgeport.edu before the designated registration deadline of the enrolled semester. Once the registration window closes, no refunds are issued. Students withdrawing after the add/drop deadline receive a standard withdrawal grade (‘W’) on their official transcript.
