Frequently Asked Questions About Campus Visits
Where do I check in when I arrive on campus?
Campus tours depart from the Office of Admissions Welcome Center located at 126 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Designated visitor parking spaces are located immediately adjacent to the building.
How long does a campus tour take?
A standard campus visit lasts approximately 80 to 90 minutes. This includes a 30-minute admissions presentation followed by a 50-minute walking tour led by a current student ambassador.
Are campus walking tours wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our campus paths and buildings are wheelchair accessible. If you or a member of your party requires mobility accommodations, please let us know in advance by calling 203-576-4552.
Can I bring parents, family members, or guests?
Yes. Family members, parents, and friends are warmly welcomed to participate in all campus tours, presentations, and open house sessions.
What should I wear for my campus tour?
Our tours cover both indoor academic spaces and outdoor walking paths across our 86-acre coastal campus. Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate outerwear are recommended.
Can I schedule a group tour for a high school or community organization?
Yes. We host high school classes and community group visits on select weekdays. Please contact our Events and Visit Coordinator at admit@bridgeport.edu at least three weeks in advance to coordinate your group.
