Submit Your Tuition Deposit
Confirm your enrollment at University of Bridgeport by submitting your $200 deposit to secure your spot in classes and campus housing.
Submit Health & Immunization Records
Upload your MMR, Varicella, and Meningococcal documentation to the Student Health Portal so you are cleared for move-in and class registration.
Take Placement Assessments
Complete online Math and English assessments so your faculty advisor can tailor your personalized first-semester course schedule.

Is Orientation mandatory for all new students?
Yes! Orientation is an essential requirement for all incoming first-year, transfer, and exchange students. It is where you receive your student ID card, meet your faculty advisor, finalize your course schedule, and learn about essential university policies.
What should I pack and bring with me?
Be sure to bring a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or state ID), your UB student ID number, comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a notebook or tablet. If participating in an overnight summer session, bring twin XL bedding or a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, and personal toiletries.
When do I register for my first-semester classes?
During your Orientation session, you will meet one-on-one or in small cohort sessions with academic advisors from your school. They will evaluate your placement results, review any transfer or AP credits, and assist you in completing your class registration in the student portal.
Where do I park when I arrive on campus?
Complimentary orientation parking is available in the main visitor lots surrounding Norseman Hall and the Cox Student Center (244 University Ave). Campus Safety officers and Orientation Leaders will be stationed along University Avenue to guide your vehicle.
