Ann served as Goodwin University’s executive vice president for thirty years before joining the University of Bridgeport Board of Trustees. She is deeply committed to educational access, student empowerment, and regional economic revitalization throughout Connecticut.

Fiduciary Governance
Specialized committees convene quarterly to conduct comprehensive oversight of academic quality, fiscal health, and campus development.
Exercises interim governance authority on behalf of the Board between plenary meetings, conducts presidential performance evaluations, and coordinates strategic agenda priorities.
Oversees curriculum quality benchmarks, faculty tenure procedures, new degree accreditations, and long-range educational initiatives across all three colleges.
Maintains fiduciary oversight of university budgets, annual independent financial audits, capital infrastructure improvements, and endowment portfolio management.
Assesses residential community development, health and wellness services, student leadership organizations, and NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
The Board of Trustees operates under the official Charter and Bylaws of University of Bridgeport. Trustees serve as fiduciaries ensuring the institutional mission, educational standards, and financial health are preserved for future generations of students.
