Comprehensive Care

Full Range of Chiropractic Modalities

Integrating manual therapies with active functional rehab for long-term health.

Spinal & Extremity Adjustments

Gentle, specific manual adjustments to restore normal joint biomechanics, alleviate nerve impingement, and reduce pain.

Rehabilitation & Exercise Therapy

Targeted core stabilization, postural retraining, and corrective exercises to prevent future injury recurrence.

Soft Tissue & Myofascial Therapies

Trigger point therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and stretching to release chronic muscle knots.

Physiotherapeutic Modalities

Ultrasound therapy, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), heat/cryotherapy, and traction for rapid pain and spasm relief.

Precision Diagnostics

On-Site Digital Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging

When spinal or joint pain requires deeper diagnostic clarity, our on-site digital radiography laboratory provides immediate, low-dose radiographic imaging.

Having digital X-ray facilities directly within the clinic allows our faculty clinicians to verify spinal curvature, rule out fractures, detect degenerative disc disease, and formulate safe treatment plans without sending patients to outside hospital imaging centers.

  • High-resolution digital X-rays with immediate clinician review
  • Minimizes patient radiation exposure using modern low-dose digital sensors
  • Clear visual explanation of findings provided directly to the patient
  • Affordable radiographic imaging fees for clinic patients and referrals

What is the popping sound during a chiropractic adjustment?

The sound is called cavitation. It is simply the release of a tiny gas bubble (nitrogen and oxygen) from the synovial fluid inside the joint capsule when pressure changes, similar to opening a carbonated beverage. It does not harm bone or cartilage.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic is recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for treating back pain, neck pain, and headaches. Our student interns perform thorough orthopaedic and neurological screenings prior to every treatment under licensed faculty supervision.

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

No referral is needed to schedule an appointment at the UB Chiropractic Clinic. Chiropractors are primary-contact healthcare providers authorized to examine, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal conditions directly.
